HOW IT WORKS
Know your diamond.
Check its report.
Find the report number
Locate the unique report number printed on your laboratory grading document.
Visit the issuing laboratory
Select the correct laboratory and open its official report-check service.
Compare the details
Match the reported measurements and grades with your document, and check the laser inscription where applicable.
A matching online report confirms that a report number and grading record exist. It does not by itself prove that a particular diamond is the stone described. Where available, inspect the report number laser-inscribed on the stone and compare the measurements. Some multi-diamond jewellery pieces may not have an individual report for every stone.
Beauty, backed
by understanding.
Every diamond deserves careful consideration. Review its grading information directly with the issuing laboratory.
REQUEST A PRIVATE CONSULTATIONQUESTIONS
Certificate verification, explained.
Can I check a diamond purchased elsewhere?
Yes. You can use the issuing laboratory's public lookup service with a valid report number, regardless of the seller.
Does a report number prove a diamond is authentic?
No. It confirms the laboratory's recorded grading information. Identifying a specific stone also requires comparing physical measurements and any laser inscription.
What if my report cannot be found?
Double-check the laboratory and number, including any letters. If the lab does not return a matching record, contact the laboratory or request documentation from your jeweller before relying on the report.
Why does verification open another website?
Only the issuing laboratory maintains its official report database. We take you there so you can review the information directly from the source.
